You CAN shoot it here we recycle the steel as well as the brass, but use good judgement about the capability of your firearm to safely cycle that ammo. Hammering steel shells out of your steel firearm is not good for it. Remember that the higher quality the firearm is, the LESS tolerant it is of non-standard ammo. Brass ammo is generally considered to be better than steel-cased ammo because it creates a better chamber seal than steel. mostly in 9mm and for use with submachine guns or machine pistols but also in 7.92 mm.
