This is in-line with recent Disney+ marketing for their tentpole live-action series including The Book of Boba Fett which debuted a trailer on November 1st, ahead of the season premiere on December 29th, Hawkeye which debuted a trailer in September with the first episode releasing in November, and most recently Moon Knight which released its initial trailer in January ahead of its March premiere. Star Wars fans should keep expectations low for tie-in merchandise for the series, as typically very limited or no figures are released ahead of a Disney+ series, with figures for most characters arriving many months later.Īlso to those fans hounding me since the poster reveal about a Kenobi trailer, I personally would not expect one until sometime in March or at the absolute latest in very early April.
Darth Vader’s look is more in-line with his appearances in Return of the Jedi and Empire Strikes Back, and not that of Rogue One, Rebels, or A New Hope.
However Darth Vader’s lightsaber was reportedly released a couple of months back, and the promotional art is likely not in-line with Vader’s appearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi.
